Collection of Genealogies from Trinidad and Villa Clara

collection: (noun) an accumulation of objects gathered for study, comparison, or exhibition

About the Collection

This body of work was created by Carlos Joaquin Zerquera y Fernández de Lara. He was the Official Historian of Trinidad, Cuba from 1967 until his death in 2009. Although this is not his complete body of work, it does represent a large majority.

The family genealogies presented here were donated from the personal research files of Hilda Pomares Treto, Lourdes del Pino, Fr. Juan Luis Sánchez y Hernández Gamboa and Antolín García Carbonell.

We thank them for their generosity in sharing their research files with us!

IMPORTANT: These files are for personal use only! The use of the information on this site for commercial, political, or any other purpose other than research of your family history and genealogy is strictly forbidden.
