DESCRIPTION:TOPIC: GEDMatch: What is It and How Do I Use It \nDid you take a DNA test at 23andMe\, but your cousin took a test at Ancestry? You cannot compare the two\, nor can you see the results for other cousins that test at MyHeritage or FamilyTreeDNA\, or LivingDNA. GedMatch allows you to look for DNA matches at other testing companies and expand the population you can compare to. Learn about GEDMatch\, what it is\, and how to use it. \nSpeaker: Peggy Jude \nPeggy is a speaker\, educator\, and researcher who has been conducting genealogical research for her family and clients for over 40 years. She specializes and teaches in five areas of genealogical interest: DNA\, Preserving Family History and Family Heirlooms\, Genealogical Methods and Records\, Genealogical Technology\, and Swedish Genealogy. \nPeggy serves as the VP\, of Projects\, and member of the board of the Manatee Genealogical Society (FL.)  She leads both the DNA and the Technology for Genealogy Special Interest Groups for the society.  She holds a BS in Zoology from Iowa State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.  Following a successful career as a Global Human Resources Executive\, she opened her genealogical business centered on the west coast of Florida.
