Family Trees - Arboles de Familias

One of the tenets of genealogy is the preliminary survey. This is the research done by other family historians or genealogists on the line or family you are researching. Genealogists researching their Cuban roots have a very limited amount of information readily available online.  This, of course, includes searching and reviewing family trees.  As a result, The Cuban Genealogy Club of Miami, Fl., Inc. will begin posting family trees with Cuban descendants. These trees have been submitted by members of the club. As in all good research, please verify the information before you add it to your own work.

 There is a volume of work, known as Historia de Familias Cubanas, which represents the most extensive collection ever compiled of Cuban genealogies. This work was done by Francisco Xavier de Santa Cruz y Mallen, Conde San Juan de Jaruco. A few of the trees posted in this section are continuations of Conde San Juan de Jaruco’s work and will be noted as such. We hope this information guides you along the right path to finding your elusive ancestors!
